God Singing Your Name Daily

In Zephaniah 3:17, it reads – “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” (ESV)

The part that I would first of all bring to your attention in this scripture is “He will REJOICE OVER YOU…”

This means in the literal translation that He will “dance, skip, spin around in joy, leap!”  I bring this to your attention because this is a revelation scripture of the deep and abiding love that God has for mankind, who is made in His image.

This scripture verse reflects the abiding love and deep passion of God and of how He treasures each and every one of us.  That is why we can say that our God is concerned about every detail of our lives.

What we are being told is that our God wants to celebrate who we are and that we hold a special place with Him in the eternal realms.

So why do I bring this scripture to your attention?  It is because of God singing.  There is a principal here that needs to be looked at.

When God sings, it is a release of His soundwaves.  And as we all know, God’s soundwaves create.  They set things into His proper order and then He says, “it is good.”

In the study of Quantum Physics, one of the major parts that you discover of great importance is how soundwaves are the basic foundation of all things.  Quantum physics will teach you that everything is built on soundwaves.  And as you and I know, the foundation of this is when God spoke in the beginning.

When you read in Colossians 1:16 that Jesus Christ made all things, what you discover is that there is a pattern to the Father and Son working together.

The scripture reads, "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominion or rulers or authorities - all things were created through him and for him."

Have you ever considered what Christ did in the beginning of creation?  As you look at it, let’s hypothesize that moment.

God speaks “light be”.  And in a moment, light (the first day daylight) appears in the vastness of the darkness.  And it shatters everything with light.  It is the light of a soundwave that was created when God, the Father of Lights, spoke.

And as you look at the situation of that time, let’s look at what the Son of God was doing.   As His Father spoke, Jesus Christ took the very soundwave of His Father’s voice, and used it to fashion creation as we know it today.  In a supernatural realm, where eternity was joined into the present day, there came a fashioning of natural substance by a supernatural and wondrous Lord.

And in that production of the creation mode, God and His Son (our Father and our King) worked together to make a present to the Son.  That’s right!  Again, in Colossians it says, “All things were created for Him and through Him.”  That was a HooRah Moment!

Now the reason for my bringing up this thinking about creation and the first day daylight is that this DNA is in each one of us.  That is why today, when we read such books as Proverbs, we find “there is power in the tongue.”

You and I, being in the image of God, have an acute power that comes by our soundwaves into the very atmosphere that we speak.  I find this very interesting because it means that our very destiny can be affected by the words we speak and the intent of our language.

Now when you think about the subject of soundwaves, think about the first part of this writing where it says again, “God sings over you.”

What happens when He sings over you?  First of all, the soundwaves of God come into your body.  And what does that do?  If we will receive His singing over us, and speaking or perhaps better said, Singing our names, it is directed right at us.  We are the intended targets of Almighty God.

And when His sound joins with our sound and with our bodies, it will correct every cell of your body.  When He sings over you, let His very substance of His voice enter into your body and create it all brand new once again.

I have been asking the Lord about certain issues that people have with their bodies and with life.  And in this asking or better termed “Inquiring”, I am discovering that there are certain protocols that we can commit too that will allow Him to have freedom in and about our daily living.  But we have to be willing to accept His prognosis, His sound, and His way.

To do this, I have decided to daily invite my Lord to sing over me all the time.  And what is happening is that by faith, I am learning that my body is fearfully and wonderfully made, and wonderful are His works upon my life.

As I learn to ask our God to sing my name daily, I am noticing that there is a change in my body that looks as if it is re-creating cell structure, and if there are damaged cells, they are becoming transformed by His sound for me.

And so I continue to pursue speaking to Him about my name, and about my destiny.  And of course, to rejoice so much over me that He would want to dance and sing my name.

While there is a lot more we could talk about with this subject, for now let’s keep the perspective that this is an introduction into a decision for daily living.

See what happens in your life when you ask our God of heaven and earth to sing your name everyday.  Perhaps this is one of the keys to a very long life!?!
