View of the Candidates -Bernie Sanders

Now to present to you the Democratic Party Candidates.

Some may ask why I didn’t present Governor Kasich in the views?  This is because again, we are addressing the front runners of each party and not the ones that are actually impeding the process due to blinded ambitions.

Now I would like to emphasize to you, that I am not endorsing anyone particular candidate.  I am in fact, just wanting to present what I have seen supernaturally and with research as well.

I will say that with Bernie Sanders, this is not a nice man and in fact, is just as much a part of a “Good Ol’ Boys Network” as they come.  The difference with him is that he is also a declared “Socialist”.  If this were Russia, and it was in the 1980’s, he would be a Communist.

First of all, let’s look at his history to get a better understanding of Bernie Sanders, the number two candidate seeking the Democratic Vote for becoming President.

Perhaps the biggest influence on Bernie Sanders was his father.  His father, a High School drop out, was not in any way a successful man.  He actually kept his family in poverty thinking and always blamed his lack of finances on society and economic inequality.

I find it very interesting that while his father blamed society for the woes of financial lack, where Bernie Sanders grew up was actually in a middle class neighborhood.  So while his father talked of always being oppressed and kept away from his dreams due to society not allowing for him to break through, it was actually the mismanagement of his finances that put the family into financial quandaries.

Due to the constant chatter and rhetoric of Bernie’s dad, the cause for economic justice was to be a focal point of Sanders later in life.

It was in this transition of experiences from his father, that Sanders came to pursue having government be a stronger ally to the people.  By this, he made a decision, while in college, that to have an effective and fair chance at life, it was necessary for the government to become more involved in helping through programs the general population to succeed.

He actually experimented with this in college.  As a young man, he went to college and spent the better part of 9 years living off of government loans, unemployment checks, and governmental stipends in order to test his understanding of how to make government work for himself.

It Is also documented that he would have girlfriends who he insisted would get jobs and support him so that he could pursue his degree in college.  To my surprise, each one of his girlfriends actually agreed to this.

I also want to point out that Bernie Sanders is on record as stating that he was a conscientious objector to the draft and refused to be involved in the military service to America.  He is also quoted as saying that he went to college, not to get a better education, but to stay out of the military.

Here I will point out that to be President of the United States, that means you are to be Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the country.  I cannot imagine the fallout by military leaders if he became President and issued commands to the Pentagon.

In his early 20’s, Bernie Sanders became involved in the Civil Rights Movement.  He participated in some demonstrations, and was once arrested.  However, when he became involved in learning about socialism and joining socialist organizations, he quit the Civil Rights Movement to study socialism and its effects.

It was during this time that he started to become involved in far-left Communist politics on campus.  Now when I speak of far-left Communism, I am not talking what most University Students become involved in during their education years.  I am talking about extreme Marxism.

It was in this study of Marxism, that he found what he would later term as “legitimate” reasons for why his life had not had an opportunity to fulfill his ambitions.

In 1988, he married his second wife Jane Driscoll, who was herself a leftist leaning socialist.  They honeymooned in Russia, which was a dream come true for Bernie.

Jane supported him financially while Bernie sought public office.  In his early career of politics, he was an absolute failure at getting any position.  But he was tenacious in continually seeking a political office.

It was also during these times, that he and Jane traveled to other pro-Soviet countries.

They visited the pro-Soviet Sandinista Government in Nicaragua known for their human rights violations, support for anti-American terrorists, and the imprisonment and exile of opponents. Bernie blindly overlooked the carnage to stand with fellow socialists. They traveled to Cuba in hopes of meeting Bernie’s hero Fidel Castro, but access to him was denied.

At the age of 40, Bernie Sanders became the mayor of Burlington, Vermont.  Eventually he even one the Senate Seat.  For all of his years representing Vermont, Bernie Sanders passed a total of three bills, and two of them were for naming post offices.

As one article stated: “His one skill is yelling about how unfair the world is, and how everything SHOULD be. But he has no plans for how to make it happen, and no idea what goes on in the rest of the world or how to deal with problems overseas. His excuse for not having a foreign policy or national security plank on his platform: I’ve only been campaigning for less than 12 months.”

What I found particularly interesting is that the news media has reported that when they have tried to  interview his first wife and a former girlfriend that he had a child with in college, they refuse to discuss any part of Bernie Sanders in their lives.

I also find it interesting, that when you look at the government of the state of Vermont, where Bernie Sanders has been a Senator, he does not have one endorsement from those who he has served with in serving that state.  As one former Senator said, who tried to work with Bernie Sanders, “he is a hostile and belligerent man.”

As I conclude this view of the candidate, I realize that I have not really written anything uplifting about this man.  I have found good qualities with other candidates.  But I must confess to you, that this man is not just and his verbiage is contradictory to his lifestyle.  He is able to bring about an awakening of university aged people to become involved in the voting process.

But his message of more government laws, more taxes, and more government control in our private lives is a threat not only to our way of life, but if he had his way, this socialist thinking would be used again to enslave other cultures as well.

Remember to vote everyone.  That is the key to getting your voice heard and your prayers into operation.

From the desk of Dutch Sheets:

Regarding the upcoming elections, prayerfully agree with me that:

  • We vote for a person of decency and honor (integrity matters)
  • We vote for someone that cannot be bought or sold (crony capitalism is evil)
  •  We don’t jump from the frying pan of failed government to the fire of another chameleon who changes colors at will (the political spirit)
  • We remember that not everyone in Washington DC has been part of the problem—be wise and discerning (God has been sending some good men and women to DC)
  • We vote for humility (which God exalts), morality and righteousness (which exalts a nation)
  • We choose substance and specific ideas over shallow rhetoric, fame, showbiz events and exciting promises (does anyone remember ’08?)
  • We remember that we are also voting for the next 2-3 Supreme Court Justices, who will undoubtedly shape our nation and lives for decades! (they could possibly do more good or bad for our nation than the next president)
  • We vote for an uncompromising, consistent, radically pro-life person (we MUST have this)
  • By God’s grace we end up with a praying, Bible-reading, moral, humble, honest and wise person in the White House

Be very careful. Pray. Listen to your heart where Holy Spirit lives. I promise you—we’re voting for the destiny of our nation.
